Versatility. That's the very best word to define Edu Simões' trajectory, young musician who has been highlighting on Santos musical scene. Very interested in music since very early age, had singing and piano lessons at the church he is member, but chose electric bass as his main instrument by the age of 16, most influenced by heavy metal and hard rock bands.

Originally playing in church - where he states that was where he most learned and developed his techniques and musical knowledge -, after a few years Edu was playing live with his first band, FarOff, and since then he's been playing with many bands of the most varied styles: pop, rock, metal, progressive, instrumental, samba, jazz, fusion, among others.

Actually, Edu plays the bass for the bands Metal Jam, KvorK, Cannonfire, also developing an instrumental fusion project with his long time friend Rafael Pontes, where they produce and play all instruments.
